I wanted to go in to get a physical.I was told I had to be seen twice in order to get a physical.I was like ?? Anyways doctor Steel came in we were talking just about my niece Yes I know her i was expecting her to ask me. When was your last mammogram? When was your last pap smear? Have you had a colonoscopy?
Nothing. I'm a nurse. I have worked for doctors. To me, if a doctor does not ask you these questions which are life threatening to your health, they're not a good doctor. I had fluid in my right ear.I did get a steroid shot before I left.She was more concerned with her.Weight loss clinic, we have a weight loss clinic.She said, I think it was every wednesday night.I started to say, are you trying to say? I'm fat, which I think she was. And I am overweight but that's beside the point to me, she's very nice.
But rushy, I felt rushed.I felt humiliated when she started talking about the weight loss Clinic again I will lose weight when I decide.I do not want somebody pushing it on me when I go to the doctor i mean, I know being overweight is not good for you, but neither is getting breast cancer colon cancer or ovarian cancer. Again It's not about the weight i used to be about her size.
I was a twig.
And I really did not feel healthy at that size. No more than I do at the size I am. Now that is not the issue here.
The issue here is again.
You need to feel comfortable with your physician. I didn't feel comfortable.
Especially when I seen, she wasn't going to ask me about Not any of those things.It was more about making money on her clinic. Weight loss clinic that is. And I don't think she was that concerned about my weight She was just wanting me to come to the clinic to Make money again, she should have asked me, do you want a colonoscopy? Do you want a mammogram? Do you want a pap smear?
Or at least to set up these things, nothing, not a word.These are lifesaving things that you're supposed to go to the doctor for duh !? I will never go back.
And I would never recommend her! I really don't like making a review about a doctor but in this case it was a little bit too much yet not enough ! I hope she sees this and starts doing a better job as a physician.

I have been seeing Karen Parham for several years and am always impressed by her knowledge, caring, conversations. I always leave with a smile. My health issues are under control. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Wait time is minimal. I highly recommend this office for your healthcare.

Everyone is wonderful I your office. They know me by name. I walk in and they say good morning or afternoon Dottie. I like the personal touch. I feel very comfortable with your office. I feel like I can talk to them about anything.

Karen is one who asks all the right questions and takes as much time as she needs to answer your questions also. She’s very thorough in all aspects and will do everything possible to help you with your needs of care.

Karen is thorough and listens to my concerns with an open mind. She provides options and insight and is quick at finding answers alternatives or referrals if needed. I see her for tele-health and in person so she is very accessible. I highly recommend

Karen is very much a people person. She is very compassionate with her patients and has a very calming affect when a patient is stressing, anxious etc. I would recommend Karen 100% to anyone.

She is very attentive, and listened to all I had to say! She explained many other ways to help with my pain, other than drug therapy! Helpful and sympathetic with my problems!
